KY PASSPORT looks to draw attention to Kentucky’s general aviation airports, highlighting them for the asset that they are for both the immediate community and those that surround them. The program also aims to serve local tourism and commerce, while contributing to the development of the next generation of aviators.
HOW IT WORKS
Participating in the KY PASSPORT program is simple! Participants purchase or renew their membership annually at a recommended donation to DREAMFLIGHT CHARITIES. Student memberships will also be available, offering a unique challenge suitable for their abilities.
From there, it is as simple as visiting a local FBO and scanning a KY PASSPORT sign. Participants will log in to record their visit and will immediately receive information on local attractions and special deals from local businesses.
KY PASSPORT participants are encouraged to visit as many general aviation airports as possible, with leaderboards updated weekly. In addition to specials and coupons from within a local community, the top ten participants who log the most points have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes in addition to bragging rights
Mobile Format
We have removed the strain of participating in the KY Passport program, with visitors utilizing a simple barcode posted on the exterior of your facility.
Stay for a While
We plan to work diligently with local commerce to provide deals and coupons for local attractions and restaurants, encouraging pilots to stay and experience all that you have to offer.
We Promote You
From sharing events and news to featuring your airport or community through our line of apparel and customized e-commerce products, our aim is to promote your facility and sense of local pride.
Support Young Aviators
All proceeds from the KY Passport program help our organization provide flight training scholarships and other programs designed to bring aviation to all of Kentucky!
