Kentucky Airport Engagement Survey Launches

DreamFlight Charities recently launched an Airport Engagement Survey in order to gather data regarding the level of engagement between our vast network of general aviation airports and their respective communities. This, alongside recent surveys gauging the status and health of aviation programs across the state, look to reveal ways in which the charity can fill the gap, supporting existing programming and creating additional opportunities to utilize aviation as a transformative tool in the lives of students across the Commonwealth.

Education & Community Outreach

A central aspect of the released survey looks to detail the level of engagement between our general aviation airports and their neighboring school systems. Not only are many schools hesitant to contact their local airfield, some communities are completely oblivious to operations taking place in their own hometown!

DreamFlight Charities looks to help develop best practices in connecting educators with their local airport to highlight various professions within the industry and additional points of partnership in promoting viable and sustainable aviation education programming.

Marketing & Promotion

Not only does DreamFlight Charities look to create stronger points of connection between our general aviation airports and their immediate community – we hope to help promote and market our vast air transportation network as well!

Our Airport Engagement Survey requests information regarding marketing and promotional efforts on the part of our airports in hopes of determining ways in which we can create viable e-commerce solutions that can provide customized marketing solutions while supporting fundraising efforts that fuel our flight training scholarships and other services.

Airport Amenities & Services

DreamFlight Charities has some exciting developments coming soon, and we’re doing our best to learn more about the various amenities and services offered by our network of general aviation airports.

With this information, we’ll be able to encourage existing pilots and those in training to visit the many unique airstrips that dot the Commonwealth, encouraging them to stick around, engage with the local community, and further strengthen our aviation network and community.

Community & Partnership Opportunities

Finally, our Airport Engagement Survey looks to get real-time input from our local airports regarding their view of the current state of our industry, ongoing operations at their locations (including flight training) – all while gauging the possibility of implementing DreamFlight’s suite of programming and services within their own community.

We encourage airport managers, board members, and other personnel to participate in the survey and to be on the lookout for additional updates, news, and opportunities from DreamFlight in the near future!
