AVCAMP COMINGFALL 2023
The DFC AVCAMP Program looks to draw attention to one of the most underappreciated resources in a given community – the local airport!
Our mobile camps bring the exciting world of aviation to even the most rural communities, providing opportunities to further gauge student interest in aviation, along with the potential of garnering local support for aviation-related STEM programming.
Utilizing our portable simulators, DFC AVCAMPs will provide ample opportunity for students to be engaged within the confines of a school campus or other special events.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Mobile Aviation Experience
The AVCAMP program is designed to be highly mobile, bringing aviation to remote areas of the state.
Ground School Instruction
Students will be engaged in a brief ground school experience that focuses on the basics of aviation.
Discovery Flight Experience
Our camp experiences culminate in a discovery flight event that is sure to cement a passion for flight.

Our organization looks to promote equity and diversity throughout Kentucky’s growing aviation and aerospace industries, utilizing flight as a tool to further inspire and encourage students across the Commonwealth.
Through our growing network of volunteers and like-minded organizations, DREAMFLIGHT CHARITIES looks to ignite a passion for aviation while creating an empowering experience for our participants that they will carry with them outside of the cockpit.
Inspire
Our aim is to ignite a passion for aviation at an early age while educating students about the endless possibilities presented by Kentucky’s aviation community.
Enable
Our purpose is to remove barriers to aviation while promoting equity and diversity at all levels of the Commonwealth’s aviation and aerospace industry.
Encourage
Our goal is to edify and build up today’s youth, shaping their outlook on life both within and outside of the cockpit for years to come.
