Current Volunteer Opportunities
DreamFlight Charities offers a variety of roles for volunteers of all interest and skill levels. Here are some ways you can get involved:
Event Support:
Help us in making this year’s lineup of events the best ever, supporting our various fundraising and outreach events, including:
- Run the 5K Runway – June 20, 2026: Help with course marking, registration, water stations, and recognizing top performers at this fun community event.
- Plane Pull Challenge – Date TBA: Assist in delivering an exciting strong-man style event where participants will be pulling an 11,000-pound Learjet in the fastest time!
- Spirit of Kentucky Air Race – October 3, 2026: Support this amazing inaugural air race, welcoming pilots and helping manage various race day activities.
AVCamp Program
DreamFlight’s AVCamp program brings portable flight simulators and aviation education to communities throughout Kentucky. Volunteers – including ground support and flight instructors – help run camps and introduce students to aviation fundamentals. Travel support and hourly compensation may be available for select positions.
