As our programs and services continue to develop and spread throughout the Commonwealth, we realize that the mission and vision of DreamFlight cannot be achieved without the generous efforts of our compassionate volunteers. Whatever your talent and capacity, we greatly appreciate any assistance in helping us further utilize aviation as a transformative tool in the lives of Kentucky students.
Here are just a few volunteer opportunities available through DreamFlight Charities:
DreamFlight Charities is looking for volunteers to help facilitate the return of the Run the Runway 5K event to Stuart Powell Field in Danville, KY!
In addition to the need for static aircraft displays, we will also need volunteers to help mark the event course, handle registration, provide water and first aid resources, as well as help recognize top performers from the event.
DreamFlight is helping with the return of Capital City Airport’s Aviation Day event!
From event setup to helping us manage various activities (including DFC’s Plane Pull!), it will take a community of volunteers to help us accommodate the thousands of event attendees this year!
Additional volunteer opportunities are also available through our event planning team – contact us today to learn more!
We’re looking to engage supporters across an exciting day of golf at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Frankfort, Kentucky!
Event volunteers will aid with event setup, registration, meal, as well as numerous challenges and activities spread across the course.
DreamFlight’s AVCamp program utilizes portable flight simulators to bring the exciting world of aviation to even the most remote parts of Kentucky!
Our organization is currently looking for ground and flight instructors who can join us on the road as we inspire the next generation of aviators. Travel expenses are covered by camp registration, with hourly pay also available through this unique opportunity – contact us to learn more!
