DFC Discovery Flights provide participants with a unique perspective, all while gauging student interest in aviation. Whether scheduling a solo discovery flight for your student or participating in one of our many Discovery Events held throughout the year, you or your student can be sure to walk away having had an exciting and memorable experience!
Discovery flights facilitated through DreamFlight Charities also enable our staff to consider comfort level, teachability, and margins of success for those interested in applying for our Flight Training Scholarships and continuing onward towards a career in aviation.
Ground School Instruction
Participating students will receive brief ground instruction and will complete a thorough pre-flight with one of our Certified Flight Instructors.
Multi-Leg Flight Plan
Weather permitting, our Discovery Events include multiple stops at a number of nearby general aviation airports, with students rotating seats at each location.
One-On-One Instruction
Each student will receive individual flight instruction during their experience, with adequate time at the controls.
